Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site construction activities for large-scale DOE, DoD, and commercial projects, ensuring project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines are strictly followed.
  • Oversee all phases of construction, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution, ensuring compliance with project design and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring efficient and safe operations on the project site.
  • Coordinate daily work plans and resolve issues between trades to maintain steady progress.
  • Manage and monitor structural steel operations, ensuring the work follows the overall project plan.
  • Supervise structural concrete work, keeping the scope aligned with quality expectations and project timelines.
  • Ensure that safety protocols and OSHA regulations are consistently followed on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with design specifications, project schedule, and budget.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues or changes to the project scope.
  • Conduct regular on-site meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and potential challenges.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior superintendents and site staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
  • Manage quality control processes, ensuring that workmanship and materials meet the highest industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage project costs, track expenditures, and ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Lead for job site safety, quality control, and project schedule and is the liaison with program/project managers and consultants on all field and constructability issues.
  • Supervises subordinate superintendents.
  • Directly interacts with union leadership to support craft staffing.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education, Experience And Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent industry experience.
