Neurology Physician (Locum)

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in neurology with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis treatment
• Certification in the TOUCH Prescribing Program for Tysabri administration
• Ability to read EEGs accurately
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Strong clinical assessment and time management skills (new patient appointments within 40 minutes; follow-ups within 20 minutes)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Experience with telemedicine consultations
• Additional certifications in neuroimmunology or related disciplines
• Prior experience in a locum or temporary clinical setting
• Ability to take one week of call per month (Monday-Monday)

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Neurology
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Prior experience administering Tysabri and managing Multiple Sclerosis patients

• Must be available to start as early as April/May or as soon as credentialed
• Schedule:
  
  Full-time (minimum two weeks per month), Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, with optional call week
• Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements as applicable
• Valid licensure and certification in the state where practice occurs
