Qualifications:
High school graduate, or equivalent. Physical health that will allow them to complete their duties. Prior experience working with students preferred. Such alternates to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.
Performance Responsibilities:
Regular and punctual attendance to perform duties. Absences only for personal illness, family emergencies, civic duty, or pre-arranged days off with supervisor approval, pursuant to Richland School Policy. Dress professionally. Work calendar shall be the number of days equal to that lunch is served to students, with any additional work as approved by the Food Services Coordinator. Workday shall be 3 hours as assigned by the Food Services Coordinator.
Work under the direction of the building Principals, and/or Food Services Coordinator. Be able to relate to students and be skilled in student management in lunchroom, recess, classroom, etc. Supervises students in classrooms, lunchrooms, hallways, recess areas, etc. as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality as it relates student, personnel, and school business. Maintain classroom/lunchroom/building supervision in an orderly fashion. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace – assisting with cleaning duties as required each day.
Assist with serving of lunch/milk as needed. Work in a collaborative fashion with other staff members. Professional demeanor through communication with colleagues, supervisors, students, and staff. Refrain from comments, actions, etc. which would distract from a friendly work environment. Provide timely communication with direct supervisors. Refrain from personal telephone conversations and cell phone use within the workday. Other duties as assigned by administration.
Pay Rate: $15/hr position is part-time @ 3 hours per day. Does not qualify for benefits.
