Role Summary

As an EHSS Lead
, you’ll drive continuous improvement in environmental, health, safety, and security EHSS across our Potato Network region, strengthening safety awareness, regulatory compliance, and site security while helping create a culture where everyone goes home safe every day.

What you will do
  • Implement and maintain the Potato Plant Network’s EHSS programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and Ingredion Corporate standards and guidelines, under the guidance of the Regional EHSS Manager.
  • Administer site EHSS processes and programs, including training, documentation, auditing, enforcement, and records retention.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and processes to support employee safety and compliance with the Food Safety Act.
  • Support site adherence to Workers’ Compensation laws and related processes, following direction from the EHSS Manager.
  • Report and enter incidents and injuries accurately and on time in the EHSS database; support investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain site environmental compliance related to air, water, sewer, and storm water requirements.
  • Deliver site EHSS training through classroom sessions and assignment of computer-based trainings (CBTs).
  • Lead site EHSS activities including the safety observation program and site safety committee leadership.
  • Track and report monthly progress against annual EHS goals, metrics, and focal points, recommending countermeasures when performance deviates from targets.
  • Implement site safety improvement plans to support continuous improvement and broader company goals.
What you will bring
  • BS degree in industrial health, safety, environmental science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent EHS experience with a minimum high school diploma.
  • Prior experience in safety, health, and environmental work within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to apply practical solutions in a fast‑paced plant setting.
  • Knowledge of medical response, fire prevention, and security defense preferred.
  • Proven investigation skills, including root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.

Pay and Incentives

Pay Range: $69,800.00–$93,066.67 Annual. This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors.
