Overview
Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Field Work Specialist in Richland, WA. This position will support Navarro-ATL, located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Job Essential Functions AndJob Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to field personnel in the planning and execution of Operations work activities.
- Ensure field personnel are compliant with company mandated and other applicable policies, procedures, programs and regulations including DOE directives, personnel safety, environmental compliance and safety of the general public.
- Supports planning and execution of operations work activities.
- Provides leadership and direction for ensuring the requisite level of conduct of operations, safety management program implementation and compliance in the planning and execution of these activities.
- Plans/executes multiple, complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.
- Ensures work packages are technically correct and capable of being performed safely and efficiently.
- Resolves work and safety issues to permit safe and efficient performance of work in the field.
- Provides status and communicates work scope at "Plan of the Day" and "Plan of the Week" meetings.
- Resolves resource and schedule issues.
- Conducts work package execution and closeout.
- Reviews and approves work instructions for work documents to ensure all documentation and requirements are met.
- Resolves work instruction issues and approves work packages.
- Facilitates installation and removal of lock and tag controls with the controlling organization administrator (COA) and assists with lock and tag surveillances as required.
- May occasionally perform Field Work Supervisor (FWS) duties for assigned work activities.
- Participates in work planning ensuring ISMS and Operational requirements are met.
- Monitors activities to ensure procedure compliance.
- Participates in Design Review Teams, Startup Readiness Review Teams, and other special committees to provide technical comments and input.
- Develops and implements preventive/ predictive maintenance programs including schedules and procedures to enhance plant availability and reliability.

- Implements ISMS, VPP, and EMS responsibilities in assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Grade 16: BA/BS degree in a related discipline and 5 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications- Previous experience with Bargaining Unit employees and Collective Bargaining Agreements, nuclear facility experience.
- Previous experience with technical writing.
- Previous experience with chemical management.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, software.
Grade 16: $90,150 - $113,550
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
