A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Equipment & Tool Engineer.

As an Equipment & Tool Engineer
, you will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. You will also have a strong desire to be out on the production floor, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
• Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
• Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
• Develop and implement workarounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
• Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Electrical Engineering Degree
• 2 or more years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects, evaluating/selecting equipment solutions, and assessing electrical system requirements
• 1 or more years of experience with programming languages such as Java and SQL
• 1 or more years of experience working to industry standards related to electrical system design
• Experience in Automation and robotics
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across diverse teams

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*:
Between $45 to $49 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
