ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Scheduler position will schedule project activities—including dates, time frames, and sequencing—for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations. The role will perform schedule maintenance between the Passport and Primavera scheduling tools and assist various project managers in developing schedules for online work, outage projects, and life cycle planning.
The scheduler ensures the delivery of timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate schedules for all assigned projects.
This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay range: $54.73 - $77.24

- Develop detailed schedule development for assigned projects to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals.
- Assist in the upkeep of lifecycle project schedules.
- Develop and implement scheduling methodology based on industry best practices.
- Support the biennial refueling outage for project scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 5 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management
- OR an associate's degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management
- OR a high school diploma or GED and 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance
- Primavera 106 Training Certification (or equivalent), Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface, understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program, risk management processes are desired skills
- Good knowledge of work control processes and procedures, knowledgeable on effects of isolating, testing, and restoring plant systems and equipment
- Experience with Passport or similar work management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems
- Proficiency in work management and outage work processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of report development software (e.g., Crystal Reports) and database analysis
- Crystal report writing or similar SQL based query report experience
- Ability to understand, apply, and model teamwork, excellence, accountability, mutual respect, and trust through open and honest communication
- Ability to work with teams, disciplines, and other plant organizations to develop integrated plant schedules
- Ability to direct resources and establish priorities for schedule activities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing
