Operations Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Coordinator – Nuclear Projects position for our client. This role supports nuclear maintenance and outage projects by coordinating planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Location: Richland, WA Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate small nuclear projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance activities
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource loading, and work execution
- Track project costs and monitor progress against schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with engineers, vendors, contractors, maintenance teams, and management
- Develop and manage vendor contracts and procurement activities
- Support ALARA planning, industrial safety, and nuclear safety requirements
- Resolve schedule conflicts and support outage coordination activities, including OCC support
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and status communications for leadership
- Support corrective action and self‑assessment program implementation
- Basic project management knowledge and coordination experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in outage and maintenance environments
- Understanding of cost‑effective work execution and human performance principles
- Mechanical background preferred
- Familiarity with outage management and online work management processes
- Experience supporting maintenance or engineering projects in technical environments
- Knowledge of human performance improvement and error reduction methods
- Project Management or Construction Management certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field with one year of technical experience; OR
- Associate degree in a related field with three years of technical experience; OR
- High School Diploma/GED with five years of technical experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Contractor may be authorized for business travel by the client technical representative.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $44.00 to $49.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
