As a Electrical Engineer at Carbon Robotics will work with the manufacturing teams to provide support with Engineering collaboration. You'll do whatever it takes - which might include going to the farm - to ensure our customers have reliable and safe products. This position is on-site in Richland
What you'll do:
* Develop manufacturing process solutions - that will involve both software, documentation, and floor operations
* Be responsible for essential manufacturing engineering tools
* Contribute to the improvement of PLM, ERP, MES systems
* Assist in manufacturing engineering for new product introduction and how to scale manufacturing processes
* Quickly troubleshoot and resolve electrical or systems issues which may arise during manufacturing
* Quickly prototype, troubleshoot, and iterate designs for electrical test fixtures and automated testing equipment - collaborating w/ engineering
* Drive decisions through project planning, task delegation and leading problem solving efforts to reiterate quickly
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
* Minimum 3 years working experience as a manufacturing engineer
* Experience with 3-phase distribution systems required
* Experience working with electrical control panels or enclosures required
* Experience with PLC Systems and Ladder a plus
* Experience working with contract manufacturers / panel shops a plus
* Experience with SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Electrical a plus
* Hands on experience in hardware debug and automated verification
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams
* Experience in schematic design and machine architecture
* BS+ in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices.
Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity - paying employees equitably for similar work.
