Overview

Responsibilities

+ Create, modify, and update 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Solid Works

+ Assist in mechanical design activities including part design, assembly modeling, and basic engineering calculations

+ Prepare detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and supporting documentation

+ Vault, manage, and maintain drawings and models within a Product Data Management system (e.g., PDM, Vault, or similar)

+ Support engineering reviews, design changes, and configuration control processes

+ Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment

+ Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards, design practices, and documentation workflows

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline

+

Experience with AutoCAD 2020 or newer

+

Experience with Solid Works 2020 or newer, including part modeling and drafting

+ Familiarity with product data management systems (such as Solid Works PDM, Autodesk Vault, or similar)

+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
