Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one-of-a-kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Your efforts will help protect the nearby Columbia River and the communities, salmon, and wildlife along its shorelines throughout the Northwest.

Sitting at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers near two mountain ranges, our community provides access to year-round outdoor recreation, 300 days of sun a year, more than 200 wineries within a 50-mile radius, and the amenities of large cities just a three-hour drive (or short flight) to Seattle and Portland.

In this role, you will execute the development of automation tools, templates, and workflows in alignment with the project's automation plan. You will configure and customize engineering applications and reports to meet project needs, ensuring accuracy, usability, and consistency. Your responsibilities include reviewing test plans, evaluating performance curves, and managing engineering output data to maintain quality and compliance. Your technical recommendations will help ensure applications adhere to established engineering work processes and that project requirements are fully supported by the structure and availability of project data.

Part-Time Telework:
This position is a full-time role that offers part-time telework flexibility in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office, then may offer part-time telework flexibility. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. Please be advised that the telework designation of the position may be changed in the future at the discretion of the company or project.

• Establishes and administers select Engineering applications on the project, includes, but is not limited to Open Plant P&, Open Plant Modeler, Open Plant Support Engineering, Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, Open Buildings Designer, Project Wise, Microstation, Smart Materials, Smart Plant Foundation, Smart Interop Publisher, Agile etc. Implements the engineering automation tools in accordance with the project automation plan, designing/developing workflows, forms, and templates for automation tools
• Coordinates with construction, procurement, project controls and other departments to establish automated data transfer between applications
• Understands reporting requirements for each application and configures reports accordingly; ensures reports are accurate reflections of the data and are functioning as intended
• Collates performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends, and use in improvements
• Reviews output data and prepares engineering report with direction from Engineering Group Supervisors and Project Engineering Manager
