Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will function as an OR Circulator, providing skilled nursing care in the operating room. This role involves circulating duties and requires experience in an OR setting. The position may require floating to outpatient surgical centers and follows a Monday-Friday block schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Perform circulating duties in the operating room.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Float to outpatient surgical centers as needed.
- Document patient care and related activities accurately.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator.

- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Experience in multiple surgical specialties.

Special Considerations:

- No on-call responsibilities.
- No weekend work required.
- No Holidays.

Scheduling:
- Block schedule, Monday through Friday.

- 1:1 patient ratio.
