Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) or Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Must be flexible and available for weekends every other week.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Level 3 NICU team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work autonomously within the NICU. Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, troubleshooting ventilator problems, and performing various procedures to support the respiratory care of neonates.

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to neonates and infants.

Perform intubation and extubation as needed.

Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases.

Assist healthcare providers with complex cases in intensive care settings.

Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.

Current Washington State License for RRT.

Minimum of two years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting.

Certification in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, and PALS.

Experience with trauma units is preferred.
