Requirements:
Washington state license in hand at submission (compact license acceptable) RRT / CRT certification BLS; ACLS; NRP; PALS certifications Minimum 1+ year experience in NICU Level III or IV required Experience with mechanical ventilation management and weaning, high-frequency/jet/oscillating ventilators preferred Proficient in ABG interpretation and arterial/umbilical blood gas procedures Familiar with tracheostomy care, suctioning, oral/nasal airway management Charting system:
Epic required
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care to neonate patients, including intubation and extubation. Manage and wean mechanical ventilation for patients in critical care settings. Administer and monitor treatment modalities such as CPAP/BiPAP and HFNC. Conduct emergency respiratory support when necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Compliance / Notes:
Background checks required. Must be flexible to float between departments and possibly to sister facilities. Pre-approved time off: 1 request allowed.
