Anova Works, PLLC, a Spokane-based occupational medicine and workplace health provider, is seeking a Medical Scheduler to support our proactive, prevention-focused clinical teams. In this role, you will schedule and coordinate occupational health visits, including injury care, physical exams, wellness, and safety services for regional employers. You will manage provider calendars, confirm appointments, verify employer and patient details, and accurately document in the EMR.
The Medical Scheduler serves as a key communication hub between employers, employees, and clinicians, ensuring timely, efficient, and patient-centered service while supporting clinic productivity and positive outcomes for working populations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm occupational health and wellness appointments for employees
- Coordinate provider calendars and clinic resources to optimize patient flow
- Verify patient and employer information, insurance, and service authorizations
- Accurately enter and update data in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Communicate with employers regarding appointments, testing, and follow-up needs
- Provide courteous, professional front-line support to patients and employer contacts
- Monitor and manage inbound calls, messages, and scheduling requests
- Collaborate with clinical staff to prioritize urgent or time-sensitive visits
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and workplace health regulations
- Assist with basic administrative tasks to support clinic operations
