Pharmacy Tech Inpatient

Overview

An Inpatient Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in a hospital setting, accurately filling medication orders, compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, managing inventory, and ensuring medications are delivered to the appropriate units. The technician maintains medication records, restocks automated dispensing systems, and follows strict safety and regulatory protocols while working closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate, and safe medication distribution for hospitalized patients.

• Accurately fill medication orders
• Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations
• Manage inventory and restock automated dispensing systems
• Maintain medication records
• Ensure medications delivered to appropriate units
• Follow strict safety and regulatory protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution

• Certified by the American Hospital Pharmacists Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting

Pay: $600 - $1000 per shift

Assignment length: 13 days
