For our client, we are seeking a Human Resources Director to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.
This role will shape enterprise HR strategy and partner closely with senior leadership to support a strong, compliant, and high-performing workforce.
The position will also oversee day-to-day HR operations, guide labor relations activity, and help ensure the organization is positioned for long-term organizational readiness.
In this on-site leadership role, you will influence people practices that support employee retention, workforce stability, and operational excellence.
Location:
Richland, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $221,005 – $331,508 annually
Responsibilities- Lead HR strategy development to attract and retain a diverse workforce
- Manage HR department operations with a focus on performance excellence
- Communicate HR policies and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team
- Ensure compliance with state and federal HR regulations through program oversight
- Foster healthy labor relations and oversee grievance negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field, or 20 years of HR experience, including 5 years in management
- 12 years of exempt HR experience, including 5 years in a managerial role
- Strong grasp of HR compliance regulations, including FLSA, PERC, ADA, FMLA/PFML, EEO, and related requirements
- Proven ability to consult with senior leaders on HR strategies and organizational readiness
- Skilled in talent acquisition and development, with experience in driving diverse applicant pools
