Description
Bestica is hiring a Database Architect (Software AG ADABAS / Natural) to provide services at the US Department of Interior, Human Resources Directorate. (REMOTE)
Benefits and DetailsMedical Vision
- 10 days PTO
- 5+ years of experience with ADABAS database design, tuning, and administration.
- Proficiency in Software AG Natural/ADABAS integration.
- Knowledge of data modeling, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing and maintaining database documentation.
- Experience converting ADABAS data to relational or cloud-native formats (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre
SQL). - Knowledge of data migration and ETL tools for legacy modernization.
- Experience working with Natural
ONE, Predict, and Entire
X tools for rehosting. - Understanding of cloud database architectures (AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (required).
- Software AG ADABAS Certification (preferred).
- AWS Database Specialty or Mainframe Modernization certification (preferred).
- Security+ (desired for federal systems).
