IT Project Manager, Cybersecurity
Job Duties/Scope Of Work
As the Deputy Vice President/CIO for Information Management, this position is responsible for oversight of Network and Computing Services, IT Infrastructure Services, Content and Records Management, Information Systems, Cyber Security and the Information Management Business Office across the Hanford Site serving DOE and other contractors. It partners with the Vice President of Information Management to ensure high‑quality delivery of critical services and solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead overall technology strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity and enterprise applications.
- Manage IT budgets, technology investments and vendor relationships in partnership with the IM business office.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including modernization, cloud adoption and data strategy.
- Ensure information security, regulatory compliance and risk management across all systems.
- Support innovation by identifying new technologies that improve efficiency or create business value.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to enable technology‑driven growth and operational improvements.
- Develop IT talent, leadership and organizational capabilities within the technology function.
- Champion policies, standards and governance for data, systems and technology usage.
- Provide oversight for large technology projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and outcomes are met.
- Bachelor degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, OR equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Effective communication to all stakeholders including employees, contractors, DOE and outside agencies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge with a Q clearance.
- Project management experience.
- Previous executive level management experience.
Grade 24: $215,550 – $283,550
Grade 25: $247,800 – $326,000
