** Performs difficult skilled technical work related to planning, organizing, and coordinating the development and maintenance of the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) system(s), and related work as apparent or assigned. ** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
*
* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Associates/Technical degree with coursework in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, or related field.
* Three (3) years of experience providing technical engineering support.
* Minimum one (1) year in the design, development, programming, implementation, and maintenance of GIS programs or and applications.
* Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
* SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Valid driver’s license
** DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
*** Experience working with GIS data and workflows for electric utility systems, with additional familiarity in fiber and other utility networks.
* Hands-on experience with electric utility GIS and asset management platforms such as Futura, Esri ArcGIS Utility Network, Schneider Electric ArcFM, or similar systems commonly used in the utility industry.
* Experience integrating GIS with enterprise systems using webhooks, API integrations, ArcGIS REST services, or Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
