Position: Technical Support Specialist I

Overview

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Technical Support Specialist 1 will provide prompt technical support to end users through Help Desk services while troubleshooting and resolving system, application, and infrastructure issues. The role will support software installation, configuration, and system utilization, and assist analysts with application and operational activities. Responsibilities also include conducting risk assessments, maintaining audit documentation, and promoting risk management practices.

This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A high school diploma (or GED) and at least 5 years of technical or administrative support experience are required.

This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $29.84

    One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment)

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, courteous technical support to end users through Help Desk services
  • Support IS analysts in applications, operations, and system-related activities
  • Perform software management tasks, including installation, configuration, and inventory tracking
  • Assist in improving utilization of IT systems through troubleshooting, guidance, and issue resolution
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues within IT infrastructure and applications
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for enterprise risk management and internal controls
  • Establish and promote risk management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization
  • Collect, evaluate, and maintain data related to risk assessments, controls, and mitigation activities
  • Partner with business units to develop and maintain risk registers and improve risk management capabilities
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations; prepare and present findings reports
  • Perform follow-up activities to ensure resolution of audit findings and mitigation actions
  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and awareness programs to support a strong risk culture
