Market Leader, Pacific Northwest – Senior Managing Director role at Slalom
This senior managing director leads Slalom’s Pacific Northwest market, based in Seattle, and is open to travel up to 50% of the time.
What You’ll DoLead profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and market penetration in your geographic area. Define and execute a go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy and lead a dynamic team across business development, client account leadership, partner sales, industry, and technical capabilities to deliver superior solutions and outcomes.
Go To Market Strategy and Execution- Define the GTM strategy for the market, establish growth objectives for both clients and locations, and develop the team and execution approach to achieve our sales, profitability, and client satisfaction targets.
- Mentor and teach others through pipeline development, deal conversion, and acting as a role model for a business‑building mindset.
- Provide support and leadership in sales pursuits, customer presentations, and contract negotiations for our most significant and strategic clients, partnering with the GTM team and capability leaders to ensure successful execution.
- Evaluate and manage client and GTM investments to support business growth and sustainability.
- Oversee AOP, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Participate in deal reviews to ensure contracts meet profitability expectations and mitigate financial, legal, and delivery risk.
- Monitor ongoing financial performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
- Partner closely with Market, Capability, and Continuous Quality leaders to align sales, pursuits, and delivery.
- Define GTM team modeling and needs across sales, client partners, and partner sales, and drive the selection and hiring process for open roles.
- Partner with capability leaders to define and model capability leadership needs and drive market growth.
- Identify shifts in demand across portfolios to align leaders strategically.
- Serve as Slalom’s culture steward and champion, fostering an inclusive environment for all in the community.
- Drive culture, support ERGs, and maintain a vibrant office hub that reflects our values.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and community stakeholders and lead key location events.
- Inspire belonging, transparency, and career growth for the team.
- Partner with People Business Partners on talent strategy for the market.
- Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to direct reports; support performance management processes.
- Build and maintain key client/partner relationships and deliver client value.

- Strategic mindset and tactical know‑how with a proven ability to be hands‑on.
