Senior Logistician
ICI Services is an Employee‑Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In‑Service Sustainment support to government customers.
We are seeking a Senior Logistician to support our Navy customers with maintenance planning and in‑service sustainment of Small Unmanned Surface Vehicles (sUSV) and other uncrewed platforms and payloads. Primary support will be at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington DC with frequent travel anticipated to San Diego, CA, Port Hueneme, CA and PACRIM countries.
Security ClearanceApplicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position/Job DescriptionGeneral Tasking
Description:
As a Senior Level Logistician, you will help develop in‑service sustainment and logistics strategies for the Navy’s new family of sUSVs and other uncrewed payloads and platforms. Your expertise will be applied to leveraging existing expeditionary maintenance strategies, policies and procedures and developing new processes in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and regulations. Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- sUSV Maintenance Strategy development. Assist in planning, executing, integrating, and overseeing all maintenance activities, providing valuable insights to develop innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Technical Liaison:
Liaise with Navy acquisition, logistics (maintenance, training, sparing) and mission readiness staff, to address platform and payload supportability issues and life cycle support. - Logistics Support:
Provide comprehensive logistics, technical, and operational knowledge, particularly in LCS mission module and unmanned/autonomous policies and procedures, to ensure effective platform and payload support.
- Apply LCS expeditionary maintenance strategies to sUSV supportability requirements
- Ability to work independently:
Utilize your experience to efficiently lead logistics projects. - Navy Procedures and Policies:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in developing and applying Navy ILS and maintenance policy and procedures. - Expeditionary Maintenance Procedures and Processes:
Familiarity with LCS, ILS procedures and processes to determine their applicability to sUSV assets. - Coordinating requirements OCONUS:
Work OCONUS as required to coordinate maintenance, repair, and sparing requirements.
- 15+ years of experience in Navy logistics, maintenance and repair
- 5+ years working OCONUS in coordination with US Navy fleet representatives
- Experience communicating logistics concepts and requirements to US Navy Fleet leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines.
