CONTROL PANEL TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

Servtech, is looking for a Control Panel Technician that will be responsible for the construction of basic electrical control panels in a safe and timely manner with the intent of improving electrical abilities.

Servtech Inc., a Roeslein company, is a manufacturer of industrial prefabricated Edge Data Centers, Power Distribution Centers, E Houses, Pumping stations, metering stations, custom variable speed drive panels, PLC Panels, Motor Control Centers, and other custom engineered products. We integrate these components into a finished system that are tested at our own facility and made ready for our client’s specific needs.

Our markets include Bio-Gas, Alternative Energy, Mission Critical (Data Centers), Mining, Pollution Control, Oil and Gas, and other industrial applications.

• Drill, tap, cut, and grind electrical enclosures and back panels.
• Build basic electrical systems including, but not limited to control stations, and junction boxes
• Ability to learn how to proficiently interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.
• Use basic electrical test equipment.
• Run electrical wires in the most effective route to minimize wire used and for uniformity and neatness.
• Regular attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
• Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance.
• Responsible for area housekeeping.
• Participate in the processes of continuous improvement including efforts to meet company smart goals.
• Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is strongly preferred.
• Associates Degree in Electrical, Control Systems Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years of electrical experience is preferred but not required.
• High attention to detail.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Strong math skills are preferred.
• Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts is required.
• Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
