Role Summary

Under the direction of the RN Manager ASC KC, the RN provides independent primary care of patients through pre‑ and post‑surgical phases, applies the nursing process during the peri‑operative phase, coordinates total patient care with the health care team, advocates for patient rights, and serves as liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective patient flow. The RN also offers direction and supervision of nursing and support staff as required.

$3,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, in addition to a comprehensive benefits and compensation package.

• Provide independent primary care of patients through pre‑ and post‑surgical phases.
• Utilize nursing process for comprehensive nursing care during the peri‑operative phase.
• Coordinate total patient care with health care team members.
• Serve as patient advocate using the Patients’ Bill of Rights.
• Act as liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective flow of patient care.
• Provide direction and supervision of nursing and support staff as assigned.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.

Pay range: $41.56 – $64.52 per hour. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
