Job Summary

Ambulatory Surgery Center RN at Providence Health and Services provides comprehensive nursing care during the peri‑operative phase, coordinating patient care through pre‑ and post‑surgical stages. The role involves advocating for patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and supervising nursing and support staff. A registered nursing license, relevant experience, and adherence to professional nursing standards are required.

• Assume independent responsibility for direct, primary care of patients through the pre‑ and post‑surgical phases.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care.
• Coordinate total patient care in collaboration with other health‑care team members.
• Function as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
• Serve as a liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective patient‑care flow aligned with the mission and values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
• Assist in directing and supervising nursing and support staff, and perform related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate professional growth by accepting responsibility and accountability for nursing practice.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse license issued upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) issued upon hire.
• At least one year of nursing experience.

• Base pay range: $40.90 – $63.49 per hour, with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
