Job Overview
Health & Wellness Coordinator – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required, with desire to obtain Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Full‑time, five days a week. Eligibility for a $2,000 bonus for qualified candidates. Seeking a caring, compassionate LPN who enjoys caring for seniors.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day healthcare operations to meet residents’ healthcare needs.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect, dignity, and consistent quality care across all shifts.
- Assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Supervise community‑based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA’s, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in‑services and situation‑specific training.
- Manage associates’ schedules.
- Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration; conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
- Share call duties as required.
- LPN or LVN license; education to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
