As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a hospice setting. Working under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with terminal illnesses and supporting their families during difficult times. Your primary responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, and providing emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
Minimum Qualifications- High School graduate or equivalent G.E.D.
- Current and unrestricted license in the State of Washington as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Current CPR Certification with Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) from an accredited provider.
- Completion of Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
- Washington State Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health.
- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance).
- Comfortable with frequent travel between patient homes and facilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Availability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as part of the on-call rotation.
- Availability to work holidays.
- Position is safety-sensitive and requires passing a pre-employment drug test, which includes cannabis testing in WA State.
- One year of CNA experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care settings.
- Experience working with patients with chronic, terminal, or end-of-life care needs.
Hiring Range: $20.63/hour – $26.60/hour.
Sign-on Bonus:
New hires are eligible to receive a $3,000 bonus upon successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment in good standing.
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.72 per mile for eligible positions.

Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked. - Wellness Days:
After the 90‑day introductory period, eligible employees can convert up to two sick days into wellness days. - Annual “Yay Day”:
Full-time employees receive one paid day off every January to volunteer in the community. - Bereavement Leave: 3 days after the introductory period for the loss of an immediate family member, household pet, or service animal.
