Registered Nurse
This is an RN role located within a clinic. An RN in this role needs to be well-versed in obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension and preeclampsia). The RN is expected to have knowledge of obstetric emergencies and appropriately triage over the phone as needed. The RN will respond to inquiries via the electronic health record system and voice messages, and perform other clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care.
L&D experience is acceptable in lieu of OB/GYN clinic experience. First-timers are accepted. Weekends are not required. Call is not required. Local candidates are accepted. All requests for time off should be included at the time of application. References are required covering the last year. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
If required for the assignment, communication devices needed to perform the duties will be supplied. This role requires commitment to work three of five holidays throughout the contract period. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.
