Description:
The Registered Nurse will focus on Occupational Health services. Primary duties include conducting health screens for new hires. Provision of necessary vaccinations to protect staff working in facilities is essential. Management of blood and body fluid exposure incidents is required. Training in respiratory protection and communicable disease management will be part of the role. Direct patient care will not be provided.
A new in-house electronic health record system will need to be learned. Previous experience with charge positions or community hospital settings is a plus. Refusal to float in assignments may result in termination. Commitment to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays is necessary. References from previous employers covering the last year are required. Communication devices needed for the position will be provided.
No direct outreach to facility contacts is allowed unless agreed upon for interviews.
