Travel RN - Leadership - Occupational Health Manager

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Health RN for a 16-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of occupational health experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational health experience required
• Willingness to learn a new in-house EHR system

Responsibilities

• Work in the Occupational Health/Caregiver Health department of a hospital setting
• Focus on employee health services rather than direct patient care
• Conduct health screens on new hires and provide required vaccines to protect caregivers
• Manage blood and body fluid exposure cases and communicable disease follow-up
• Provide respiratory protection training to staff
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 hours)
• Uses a new in-house EHR system (Epic is not used)
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, and New Year s Day
• RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Local candidates are accepted at a lower bill rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Two supervisory references are required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem/registry staff
