Role Overview

This perioperative nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care during surgery and endoscopic procedures, utilizing the nursing process and coordinating with the healthcare team. Acts as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and respecting patient rights, while serving as a liaison among physicians, staff, patients, and families to facilitate smooth care delivery. Demonstrates professional growth by taking responsibility for nursing practice and supports support staff leadership.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid Washington RN license and BLS certification
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Certification in a related specialty area upon hire

• Provide intraoperative and perioperative nursing care
• Coordinate patient care and advocate for patients’ rights
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective care flow
• Support support staff and participate in professional development
