Certified Welding Inspector

Talascend is currently seeking a Certified Welding Inspector for a contract opportunity in Richland WA.

• Will perform quality surveillance activities defined by the assignment scope to verify, through monitoring, observation, document review, and selective hands-on inspection, that supplier furnished material and equipment conforms to the technical and quality requirements of the procurement documents.
• Will verify that equipment or materials include defined attributes of recognized codes and standards and procurement document requirements.
• Reject material found non-conforming to procurement document requirements.
• Collaborate with the supplier and project supplier quality personnel to identify a course of action to achieve satisfactory disposition of disclosed non-conformances.

• Must have strong computer skills.
• Detailed weekly reporting documentation required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must travel to other locations as needed on a regular basis.
