AMSE Quality Assurance Consultant Support
Pro Sidian Consulting is looking for a AMSE Quality Assurance Consultant Support (Full-Time) located in The Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities
- Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.
The Pro Sidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. Pro Sidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support.
It is also Pro Sidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft.
AMSE QA Consultant Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a AMSE Quality Assurance Consultant Support and provide Quality Assurance Consultant Services to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Richland Operations Office (RL), Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE)
The Quality Assurance Consultant shall provide support in the following areas:
- Maintenance, implementation and effectiveness of the RL quality assurance program.
- Assessment of the prime contractors' quality assurance program implementation and effectiveness.
- Review of prime and sub-contractor activities and documents with respect to the proper flow down of the applicable quality assurance requirements.
- Conducting and/or reviewing documentation of quality assurance receipt inspections on-site.
- Monitoring prime and sub-contractor activities and documentation for compliance with contract statement of work requirements.
- Document reviews
Assist with:
- Quality Assurance support plans and documents.
- Quality Assurance Audit Reports.
- Technical Surveillance Reports.
- Operational Awareness Reports.
- Management Assessment/Independent Assessment Reports.
- Quality Assurance Vulnerability Assessment Reports.
The AMSE Quality Assurance Consultant Support shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
AMSE QA Consultant Support Specialist personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
- Experience in commercial, or government, nuclear quality program planning, development, and implementation.
- Experience as a Lead or Senior Quality Engineer or Specialist.
- Prior or current NQA-1 auditor qualification.
- Experience in performing surveillances/audits/assessments with respect to verifying contract specifications.
- Experience in plant testing, turnover and plant operations.
- Experience with operational readiness reviews.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Power Point.
- U.S. Citizenship.
TRAVEL:
Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
LOCATION:
Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy
- Richland Operations Office, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
