The Ned & Ned's Club Washington DC boasts 3 restaurants each serving a unique style of cuisine from around the world. As a Line Cook you will support our culinary team in one of these kitchens, serving up amazing food to our members, guests and customers.

Company OverviewThe Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. It is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW.
Responsibilities- Keep guests and customers well fed by preparing and serving restaurant menus.
- Read recipes and create dishes that look and taste amazing, always following Ned’s Club standards.
- Set up stations, work on prep as assigned, follow FIFO, manage tickets during service.
- Tackle any glitches or issues head on, prioritizing the guest experience.
- Work alongside other line cooks, chefs, front of house team and management to deliver a seamless experience to every guest.
- Use equipment properly and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, well presented and ready to hand over to the next team of cooks throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner flows.
- May also support the next team of cooks by helping to prep for the next service.
- Our kitchens operate different hours; we can usually accommodate your preferred shift patterns – a degree of flexibility is required in hospitality.
- Previous experience on the line in an operational kitchen.
- Any specialist knowledge of cooking techniques or cuisine types may be advantageous.
- A calm demeanor and a genuine passion for providing guests with exceptional food is essential.
- Creative flair is welcome; menus change seasonally and you may assist your head chef in menu creation.
- Salary up to $27/hour.
