Job Description
Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about products, and recommend appropriate solutions. They promptly resolve concerns, maintain client satisfaction, stay knowledgeable about product features, and uphold high visual standards of the store. They are expected to achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.
Position Details
Full‑time position located within a 15‑mile radius of Store #721140, 1727 George Washington Way, Richland, WA. Pay: $19.25 per hour.
Responsibilities- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately in line with policies and procedures.
- Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and set up displays.
- Clean store equipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Assist in making deliveries as needed.
- Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
- Stay knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Comply with inventory control procedures.
- Suggest ways to improve sales.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English.
- Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Capable of retrieving material from shelves and floor stacks and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Experience selling paint or paint‑related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- 0–10 paid holidays annually, including one floating holiday.
- 3–13 paid vacation days in the first year, prorated based on hire date, including minimum 3 front‑loaded paid “flex” days.
- Paid sick leave accrual: 1 hour per 40 hours worked (WA state); 1 hour per 30 hours worked (Seattle).
- 4 workweeks of paid military leave for qualified personnel.
- 5 days paid bereavement leave after a death of an immediate family member, 3 days after a death of any other family member.
- Two weeks of paid parental leave after birth, adoption, or placement of a foster child after one year of employment.
