Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $17.13 - $23.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Essential job functions include leading store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; supervising customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensuring team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).

Ensuring the telephone is answered according to company policy.

Processing all buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Handling special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Processing retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issuing refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and processing or staging returned merchandise in the returns area.

Invoicing all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.

Communicating Zipline messages and delegating and completing Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.

Ensuring team members adhere to the posted work schedule, with approved changes/deviations, and clocking in/out according to company policy.

Performing all store opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security lights and alarms, and securing delivery vehicle(s).

All other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
