Job Title

The CHEF'STORE Sales Associate helps maintain an atmosphere of superior customer service and promotes the US Foods strategy of Great Food, Made Easy.

Schedule:

Part‑time;
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9AM‑7PM; 20‑30 hours weekly.

• Ensure an impeccable customer experience by building and maintaining relationships with shoppers.
• Perform sales and cash functions accurately using the POS, scanning merchandise, weighing products, and resolving barcode discrepancies.
• Transfer all products at checkout and conduct visual inspections for tampering.
• Serve as a receipt checker, verifying cart contents at exit.
• Execute opening and/or closing duties for the front end as assigned.

• Drive sales and manage shrinkage by assisting customers in locating products and highlighting store services.
• Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves neatly, and conduct rotations and product quality audits.
• Label merchandise correctly, including blaster tagging, catch‑weight labeling, and PLU tag application.
• Replenish the sales floor daily from top stock, following FIFO principles.
• Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and proprietary software as needed.
• Keep products accessible, visually appealing, and consistently available.
• Assist with price changes as directed by the Pricing Lead and store management.
• Contribute to opening and closing duties of the store.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counting processes as required.

• Maintain a safe environment by following safety policies and reporting issues to management.
• Clean the sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and entry area.
• Retrieve and reposition carts from parking and corrals to designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by store management.

The role is performed in a retail store setting open to the public. Employees may encounter outdoor weather conditions including inclement weather, and the noise level is usually moderate. Work is typically performed on a level surface.
