About The NedThe Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like‑minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.
The propertyNed’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12‑storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.
The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self‑contained floor of private event spaces.
- Be a welcoming and calming presence when supporting client inquiries, tours, questions, and event details to enhance their experiences and head‑off any glitches early.
- Assist with selections, planning, and executing events for clients.
- Draft and distribute Banquet Event Orders, including food selections, room set‑ups, AV and program schedule sequence.
- Coordinate and plan event operations and logistics, including vendor communication, parking, scheduling, music, rentals, etc.
- Track event budgets, expenses, payments, and due dates.
- Serve as support to the Events Sales Manager and the Director, including event plan execution.
- Work closely with other operating departments to ensure events are memorable and exceed client expectations.
- Take the lead in generating reports and financial analysis.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packs for sales and executive team.
- Ensure the payment process for events is adhered to.
- Rapport‑building skills are essential; every client interaction is crucial to our success.
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to find solutions quickly and independently when needed.
- Above‑average computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly and thoroughly.
- Experience working with colleagues in event planning, sales, marketing, and communications.
- Salary of up to $30/hour.
