Security Support Specialist
The role is responsible for monitoring parking, building access, visitor screening, badging, and ensuring adherence to visitor policy specialist provides visitor management and monitors entrances using in‑person checkpoint screening and video surveillance systems. Responsibilities also include dispatch duties and supporting Security Services and Emergency Management. The specialist may be cross‑trained to use security technology such as radios, visitor management software, security camera surveillance, or other detection applications to prevent workplace violence.
The position serves as the first point of contact at hospital entrances and delivers exceptional customer service and a positive visitor experience.
- Driving may be necessary; applicants must comply with state driving laws and provide proof of driver’s license and auto insurance upon request.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in healthcare, public relations, customer service, or a security‑related field.
