Electronic/Electrical Tech II – Richland, WA

This position performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand/power tools and test meters. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on plant or office facilities, machines, and equipment.
• Use hand/power tools and test meters for inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Actively write adequate notifications for items observed needing attention.
• Maintain high Overall PM completion rate (≥90%) and Critical PM completion rate (≥98%).
• Work overtime or off‑shift when needed.
• Maintain LOTO validations, safety trainings, and required certifications.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve maintenance calls and critical troubleshooting.

• Acceptable record with the company for safety, attendance, and no disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in using SAP for maintenance requirements (creating Work Orders, adding comments, looking up spare parts, and bill of materials).
• Understanding of instrumentation, motor controls, and basic electrical schematics.
• Capability to read schematics, wiring panels, and fabricate replacement equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC codes and regulatory equipment codes.
• Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, meggers).
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues and programming PLCs without supervision.
• Proficient in panel design, breaker size, wire size, load rating, conduit fill; competence with programming, troubleshooting, and installing VFDs.
• Strong teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, punctuality, positive communication, adaptability, openness to feedback.
• Good work ethic, time management, priority setting, and consistency.
• Capable of working shift with minimal supervision.
