Title:

Location:
Richland, WA
The role involves performing repairs and maintenance on plant or office facilities, machinery, and equipment. Responsibilities include conducting routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine necessary maintenance, using hand and power tools, test meters, and troubleshooting equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Job Requirements- Maintain an acceptable safety, attendance, and disciplinary record.
- Use SAP for maintenance tasks: create work orders, add comments, and look up spare parts and bill of materials.
- Award PM completion rates: overall 90% year‑to‑date, critical PM 98% year‑to‑date.
- Write adequate notifications for observed items needing attention.
- Keep current with all LOTO validations, safety trainings, and required certifications.
- Communicate ideas effectively and listen actively.
- Resolve conflicts professionally and constructively.
- Demonstrate punctuality, positivity, adaptability, and openness to feedback.
- Prioritize tasks (line calls, critical and routine maintenance, SAP confirmation) and maintain consistent, productive performance.
- Show leadership and resolve problems independently when necessary.
- Be willing to work overtime or off‑shift when required.
- Understanding of instrumentation, motor controls, and electrical systems.
- Experience testing electrical systems and continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and megger.
- Formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, electrical schematics, instruments, and controls.
- Ability to maintain equipment to meet state and federal regulatory codes.
- Computer proficiency:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic record‑keeping. - Identify and correct electrical issues with confidence.
- Read schematics, wiring panels, and fabricate new or replacement equipment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and VFD installation.
- Knowledge of panel design, breaker and wire sizing, and conduit fill calculations.
- Experience with NEC codes.
