Storekeeper/Truck Driver

Storekeeper:
Perform complex and diverse stores and warehouse activities involving a broad knowledge of receiving, disbursing, and shipping material. Performs work such as filling material orders, answering inquiries regarding stock and shipment, arranging for special deliveries, investigating complaints, locating lost shipments, maintaining storage yards, performing inventories, transferring materials, marking and identifying material storage bins and/or racks, assisting in the storage, packaging and shipping of hazardous materials, etc.

Operate forklifts, order pickers, carts, etc. Involved in warehouse operations and utilize computers and automatic data processing equipment in the performance of the above functions. Train and direct others.

Truck Driver:
Operate truck and trailer equipment, such as dump truck having a truck measure capacity including sideboards or other apparatus which increases the capacity to less than six (6) yards; two-axle flat bed or water truck; fuel truck under 1,500 gallons, forklift (6-ton to less than 12-ton); farm tractor and related equipment; towing of trash trailer with two-axle truck; load and unload vehicles, etc.

Make minor repairs incidental to driving, such as changing tires, etc.

Perform all work required to maintain landscaped grounds including, but not limited to: lawns, planters, trees, flowers, and shrubs. Operate associated grounds care equipment. Develop and maintain methods and procedures necessary for the safe and cost-effective care of landscaped grounds, sprinkler systems, grounds care equipment, chemicals, fertilizers, and materials. Train and direct others.

Minimum qualification:

  • High School education or equivalent is required. This must be reflected in the resume submitted.
  • Valid State and Commercial Driver's License, current medical certificate, and a good driving record required.
