What You'll Actually Do
  • Customer Service:
    Provide best-in-class customer service to ensure timely freight movement and resolve service issues with drivers, customers, and company personnel as they arise.
  • Operations Management:
    Manage fleet operations, assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
  • Driver Relations:
    Build and maintain professional relationships with drivers, provide training and orientation, conduct driver counseling, and manage driver safety messages and briefings.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Perform payroll, manage the Net-Revenue budget, handle accident reviews, file documentation, resolve pay issues, analyze P&L statements, and create operational or financial reports.
  • Equipment Management:
    Manage the yard, inspect and repair equipment like mud flaps, and coordinate with maintenance for preventative services and safety-related mechanical fixes for account equipment.
The Must-Haves
  • Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    One year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or a related field, if possessing a High School Diploma/GED; willingness to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
  • Skills:

    Personnel management, fleet operations management, DOT regulation compliance, financial analysis and reporting, customer service, and problem resolution.
  • Bonus:
    Experience managing a team; ability to anticipate and resolve conflicts; capacity to analyze situations and make productive decisions; adaptability to changing environments; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
