Despatch Officer - Richlands, QLD

The Position

• Full-time permanent position.
• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
• Booking and arranging transport through transport and freight companies
• Preparing consignment notes and other documentation
• Preparing run sheets and tracking proof of deliveries
• Consolidating delivery orders for Local Metro runs
• Organising labels and documentation for external storage contractors
• Assisting sales representatives and other staff with their queries
• Administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones and emails

• Previous experience in a Transport, Warehouse Administration, or Clerical role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident liaising with a variety of people across various teams and functions – including customers, transport/shipping companies and truck drivers.
• Ability to prioritise, follow-up, and manage your time effectively
• Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Adaptable, a natural problem solver with the ability to think on your feet
• Dangerous Goods experience an advantage
