A healthcare facility in is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team. This opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and helping individuals improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

Position Overview

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment programs, and provide hands-on therapy for a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and functional conditions. This role offers the opportunity to manage an outpatient caseload while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, function, and overall wellness.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and long-term health management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Promote a positive and supportive patient experience throughout the rehabilitation process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience.
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative rehabilitation team.
Schedule
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling options available:
  • Longer workdays Monday through Thursday with a shorter day on Friday
  • Four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday
