17521R | Workshop & Maintenance Officer | Early knock off every Friday

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design, fabrication, and supply of high-quality steel infrastructure products used across the utilities, telecommunications, transport, lighting, and construction industries. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Workshop Maintenance Officer to join their team.

As a Workshop & Maintenance Officer, you’ll be responsible for preparing raw materials and components for production.

• Prepare materials in accordance with production cutting lists.
• Operate equipment including bandsaws, croppers, drills, linishers, and sandblasting equipment.
• Produce components to required quality standards and specifications.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
• Assist with general factory maintenance and housekeeping.

We’re looking for people who:

• Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Have good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety.
• Hold a current forklift licence.
• Have previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or industrial experience (preferred but not essential).

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:20 pm | Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm (Early finish every Friday!!)
