Director of Infection Prevention – Registered Nurse (RN)

Full‑Time, Exempt.

• Plans and monitors staffing activities related to orientation.
• Conducts annual infection control education and fit testing.
• Collects performance‑improvement data.
• Develops improvement action plans and evaluates outcomes.
• Collects and reports regulatory compliance data (CMS, CDC, NHSN, and Joint Commission).
• Coordinates with the Health Department and other agencies regarding infection‑control outbreaks, reporting, and concerns.

• Current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Infection Control Certification preferred.
• At least two years of RN experience.
