Director of Infection Prevention - Registered Nurse; RN

A Director and Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Plans and monitors staffing activities related to orientation
• Annual Infection Control Education and fit testing
• Performance improvement data collection
• Improvement action plans and evaluations
• Regulatory (CMS, CDC, NHSN, and Joint Commission) compliance data collection and timely reporting
• Works with the Health Department and other outside agencies regarding infection control outbreaks, reporting and concerns

Applicants must have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 30 days of hire
• Infection Control Certification preferred
• At least 2 years of RN experience required
