Job Description:
Join Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA, as an RN in the Emergency Department for a 13-week contract. You’ll be working 12‑hour day shifts, providing vital support during peak hours in a 16‑bed unit that serves geriatric, adult, pediatric, and OB patients. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of acute diagnostic and treatment cases, perform patient assessments, and initiate appropriate interventions—each day bringing a new challenge to keep your skills sharp.
The unit accommodates patient ratios typically at 5:1 but can be pulled to a full bed capacity. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. The scheduled hours are 36 per week, with every other weekend on call and a guaranteed weekly gross of $1,923.52.
